Cast construction gives it a good weight. It doesn't wobble when I put the sticks in. Matching gray plate catches the residue properly.

Why you'll love it.
Setting this on a study desk brings a sense of ancient history to a modern space. The textured finish is pleasing to the touch, and the inclusion of a proper ash plate makes it far more practical than standard upright burners.
What people think
All 5 reviewsbahut accha design hai. This porcupine shape looks like a piece of art on my shelf even when not in use. The textured surface is quite detailed.
It looks very mythic and the gray tone is neutral. Only thing is the hole for the incense is a bit tight for the thicker sticks I have, but standard ones fit fine.
Sturdy and looks good on my desk.. ash collection plate keeps the area clean.
Quill-inspired form is nice but the base plate is quite small. If the incense stick is particularly long, some ash falls outside the edges.
