Solid wood base weighs a full 3kg, so there is no risk of it tipping over on my side table. Those origami style pleats on the linen shade look very architectural when the light is on.

Hand-pleated shade is lovely and it was simple to put together without any stress. Only thing is the wooden base takes up a bit more room than I expected, but the material feels solid.
