Milled leather is surprisingly soft right out of the box. Usually, these take weeks to break in, but the unlined design makes them comfortable for the office immediately.

it is a bit more casual than I expected because of the pebbled texture. fine for work but not for very formal meetings.

Structure is a concern because it feels almost too soft around the ankles. It lacks the stiffness I prefer in a traditional penny loafer.

Picked the nitrile rubber sole for better grip on wet floors. Hand-welting looks solid and neat. Just wish the black was a bit deeper.

i found the NDM leather way too thin for daily use. it does not hold its shape well after walking a few kilometers, feels a bit flimsy.
