Burgundy color is quite deep and looks sophisticated in person. The hand-welting seems sturdy but the leather is a bit stiff around the ankles during the first wear.

Hard to find a proper hand-welted shoe at this price. Full-grain leather has a good weight to it and the longwing pattern is very clean.

Fit on the UK 9 is good but feels slightly narrow near the toes. Leather quality is quite substantial and the burgundy is a refreshing change from my usual black shoes.
