The burgundy shade is deep and the oiled leather feels very substantial. Hand-welted finish is neat, and the nitrile sole gives a steady grip even on damp floors. Definitely feels like it will last a few years.

Leather is thick so it took a few days to break in around the ankles. Once settled, the fit is great and the storm welt keeps the moisture out during light rains.
