leather is thick and needs some time to break in properly around the ankles. once they soften up the plain toe style looks very sharp for daily wear. 4 stars for the effort needed.

Matte finish looks classic but the laces provided feel a bit thin for such a heavy-duty boot. Otherwise the leather structure is solid and the fit is true to size.

Resoling will be easy later because of the welt. Full-grain leather has a nice weight to it and doesn't feel flimsy like mass-market brands.
